Read Basic STEPS to start a Chess Tournament in your city.

1. First of all Choose a Name for your Chess Tournament [only Single Word no SPACE]

2. Advertise in Newspaper/ Magazine/ Radio/ TV/ Road Banners about the tournament.

3. Choose a joining fees. India: Rs 200-500. US & Europe US$ 20-50. (85% of the money remains to you.)

4. Wait for 100-1000 participants.

5. Calculate your Budget.

Case India: Investment: Rs: 45,000 Profit: Rs 18750 (per city)

Choose entry fees depending on cost of living in your city.
Say you got 250 participants and entry fees is Rs 300. (+Taxes)
You get 250*300=Rs 75,000. You get 85% of the money Rs 63,750 with you.
Say you used Rs 20,000 in Advertising and Rs 25,000 in arranging the tournament.
Rs 45,000 is the expenses you need for Advertising and arranging the tournament.
So your Total Expenses is: Rs 45,000 and you will make a profit of Rs 18750 from the tournament.
15% of the money generated (Rs 11,500) will be given to Us.
We will use half (Rs 5750) for giving Awards to winners and other half (Rs 5750) as our service fees.

Case USA/ Europe: Investment: US$: 4,500 Profit: US$ 1,875 (per city)

Choose entry fees depending on cost of living in your city.
Say you got 250 participants and entry fees is US$ 30. (+Taxes)
You get 250*30=US$ 7,500. You get 85% of the money US$ 6,375 with you.
Say you used US$ 2,000 in Advertising and US$ 2,500 in arranging the tournament.
US$ 4,500 is the expanses you need for Advertising and arranging the tournament.
So your Total Expenses is: US 4,500 and you will make a profit of US$ 1,875 from the tournament.
15% of the money generated (US$ 1,150) will be given to Us.
We will use half (US$ 575) for giving Awards to winners and other half (US$ 575) as our service fees.

Profit may vary with number of participants, Entry fees, Advertising costs, Location of Tournament and other factors So Plan well before starting the Tournament.

6. Arranging Tournament

At-least 2 computers with Internet connection is needed.

You may arrange 5-10 computers from Computer Cafe for a few days.

You have to schedule which Player will play with which player and on what date/time.

You have to decide which player will take white/ black.

You have to see the games are played in-front of arbitrator and No Cheating allowed.

In-case a game is disconnected you can restart the game.

All the games will be recorded on our server.

You need to lease proper land/apartment where participants can play safely and happily.

Do not disturb or suggest any moves to any players.

In-case of any conflict you have to handle and give correct decisions.

7. Sending us Details

Once all the games are played on Computer you have to provide us link to all games.

Along with Suggestions on who are the winners

Also suggest us how much prize money should be given to Top 3 and Top 10 Players.

Award: 30% as First Prize

Award: 15% as second prize

Award: 8% as third prize

Award: 5% to 4Th,5Th,6Th,7Th,8Th,9Th,10Th ranking players (Total 35%)

Rest 12% is used in sending Medals.

If you want to share large Prize money you have to provide us extra money.

All medals given to winners must have "GetClub.com AWARD" on top and Players Ranking embedded on them.

8. Playing Rules at GetClub.

You just have to record those games that were played for your tournament.

You can have new tournament ever month.

If you are successful in making tournament in your city you can arrange more tournaments in other cities as-well.

You will be sole responsible for deciding how much to invest in advertising.

The more you advertise the more people attend So you get larger budget.

Never have more than 10 games at a time.

Make a Schedule Such that players feel comfortable and play as good as possible.

Try to give equal status to all players irrespective of their caste/ religion/ age/ sex/ and other factors.

9. Each player must have played at-least 5 games of Chess Online before he can take part in Tournament.

Its needed so that the player is accustomed to how the game is played.

Before getting the competition fees. You have to create his account at GetClub.

He must have Unique user-name/ password.[Hidden]

He will be needed to verify his Email Address online.

So You must have Internet connected computer where the user is being registered for competition.

Ask the Player to play 5 games with Baby Level. It may take 20 min per game.

Once the Player has played 5 games with Baby Level. You can register him for the Tournament.

Player will not be allowed to play with Human Opponents until he plays 5 games with Baby Level at GetClub.

10. You can arrange maximum 1 competition every month for a city.

11. You can arrange competition for maximum 10 cities at a time.

12. We are not responsible for your profit/ loss. So plan your advertising/ Handling of event carefully.
We only provide you our servers for conducting the tournaments.
You have to arrange the location of event along with Computers/ Internet Connection/ Power Supply etc.
You will have to provide us the 15% (Prize money + Service fees) before the tournament begins.
You have to provide Fees details, Number of Participants along with their User-name before tournament begins.
